The keyboard clairvoyants/expert crime detectives are literally the people who are scraping the bottom of a barrel of cesspit. This poor man is most likely living a nightmare that hopefully none of us will ever experience. He has most likely been encouraged to give an interview by the police etc. I once was out for a walk and lost sight of my little sister for all of a minute - I felt like my heart was jumping out of my chest and when I came across a person, I was literally struggling to force words out in a coherent manner. Stop judging people when the police have just come out and said that she most likely fell into the river by accident.

@michaelsrowland i live on the Shadwell basin and even though its a closed off body of water, it took police divers two days to find a swimmer a couple of summers ago! Even tougher when its a river with deeper areas and also moving water! Very sad!
