The game plan has always been to get Tesla to build them a fully functional plant for free so they can get free foreign tech for their own use. Truth, facts and science does not matter in this place

it's a fine car... as long as you don't drive it. So there's probably a market for people like that ...
96
Or they ordered the fall of Jack Ma. You never know
81
New subway stations are known to leak.. Right from the get go. It's impressive some of these bridges fail after 12 years! That's pretty good quality in that part of the world lol
66
@Nah_Bohdi the tunnels are roads actually have fake sewage grills that lead to nowhere!
54
@nathank3976 I'm not sure if it has to do with Covid. Maybe it's due to stores bringing black Friday online. Less stuff gets damaged. Less theft. Less staffing and security
51
Well when you cannot have freedom to discuss anything, or even demonstrate peacefully, then this is the only way to express your dissatisfaction. It's basically a general strike in the whole population. I think this is a brilliant idea these Chinese kids came up with. You can't send tanks into every home to run them over!
48
So basically China is using a tea cup to fill a swimming pool. Good luck!
48
Also try Taiwan instant noodles that aren't oil fried
44
It's taken them 40 years to reach the peak and it will take them 2 years to roll to the bottom.
42
Imagine, you bully others and you cry when the same is applied to you. WEAK!
40
FYI, Temu and Shein has been setting up local warehouses in major markets to stock popular items exactly to get around this type of customs issues and save shipping costs
37
Anytime you turn medical or science into a political agenda, it never ends well
36
Nothing wrong with saving for the future. It's much better than running up credit card debts... HOWEVER! that's in the assumption that she doesn't then put that money into the bank and then the bank won't let her withdraw it or the bank fails!
34
The whole point is to direct attention elsewhere so its own people won't be fixated on why they are still poor, unemployed and lack food and health care
32
"There's no modern China without CCP" and this is exactly what they meant
31
They generally let people discuss things and air their grievances online ... as long as it doesn't go viral. The second whatever topic it is starts to trend, that's when the alarm is triggered and you and your post disappear.
29
Every time in the past decade we went in, we always bought water from outside of China. In some places the water is so bad I wouldn't even brush my teeth with it.
27
Breaking News, Fujian BYD 4S store went up in flames. Burning down the showroom with 7 cars inside it... how many Tesla / MB / BMW / Porsche shops have gone up in raging flames?
26
@soundrogue4472 well they did say they wanted to speed up. So they have achieved it. Speed up the collapse... Of the bridge and the country. Great leap backwards
26
@Michael-lg4wz at least they're not using concrete to build supports for the bridge. Filing with dirt and loose pebbles gotta be less carbon emissions than making concrete
25
Despite all the bad mouthing of foreign companies operating in China... It turns out they are the best employers China ever had! And yet little pinks want all foreign companies gone... Well, their wishes have come true! Go figure! 😂😂😂😂
24
@Lawofimprobability it's because of heavy heavy corruption. Engineering is done on a best condition basis meaning not allowing for ground settling, wind, load etc. Then construction is farmed off to family members, then suppliers are close relatives with each level taking a cut. So in the end the only way to make money for the actual construction company is to skimp on skilled labor and materials. And so we have this epic failure
23
To help solve the air, water pollution issue, the rest of the world needs to consider buying from environmentally responsible countries!
23
great way to ensure nobody else would want to invest there.
23
You got that right! It's all due to corruption. If it's a govt project, the leadership chain all took their money. By the time the money gets to the builder, there's very little left to actually build it and stay profitable. (and let's not forget, in order to win the bid you again need to bribe the various officials). So even if you were not to make profit, you simply have no money to buy proper materials. The fact that they can even build these is already impressive! Best solution is to let all the officials live in those houses with their families!
22
Paper tiger and paper boats.. Very fitting
22
3:20 until the departments understand the new data and their implications... Translation : until the central govt alters data to suit their propaganda. What did you expect when real estate prices are artificially high, income hasn't kept up? Nobody can afford to get married or have more than one child
21
Actually some fools are actually doing that now. Selling their house in north America and moving to the pearl delta.. They will regret it later
21
@darcycardinal6275 the good news is it'll drive up the GDP. also less dynamite is needed cuz it's tofu buildings
21
Even Chinese factory owners move to other parts of Asia where their hard work and assets won't be 'voluntarily donated' to the party.
20
yes, and without these perfectly built wheels, they're already bragging about how their rails are travelling faster than Japan's. And now with these tofu tracks... NOTHING can go wrong .. ever!
18
If people aren't getting married, not having kids, there's no market for children's related spendings
18
The poor continue to flex making them more poor
18
Don't worry, unless they own the ports. Port fees are very expensive according to freight forwarders. And it's the most expensive way to store goods. What you gotta worry about is it they're planning to leave it there until they get confiscated for non payment and then auctioned off thus avoiding fees and import duties!
17
It's a test to see how much clout his Mayor dad has in the CCP. either he'll be recalled back home or he might double down if his dad has power
17
Haha I came here looking for this comment! Well done! 🎉🎉😂😂😂😂.
17
@ronnelacido1711 yes just like their cities. All looks good, one little rain, and it's discovered the roads have no sewers or concrete base. Everything is flooded and falls. Taiwan gets an earthquake, their buildings stand. Far away in China the buildings crack.. From a distant earthquake! Go figure!
17
They lost every time to India
17
They can... But the leaders only care about putting money into their pockets
17
Hong Kong after 97 is no longer Hong Kong
16
And all windows facing the square forced to close windows and draw curtains in what the little pinks says to prevent snipers! Firstly if he's truly loved by all residents, why would they want to attack him? Secondly, even knives are difficult to buy so how would anyone other than military be able to get their hands on high power high precision sniper rifles? This isn't some cheap Russian knock off guns you can buy from your neighborhood gun dealer.
16
@Bialy_1 this is very very true. The personal wealth of the ruling elites in China has been on a sustainable growth path.
16
It's the product of the great nation of... Pooh
15
The officials who signed the agreements took money. It's that simple
15
Sure ever tried reading chinese software code? They use so much phonetic Chinese it's nuts
15
They're all doing it for subscribers.. Aka... Money
15
All media is controlled by central govt with all messaging coordinated. So it's very clear the retraction and rapid pace of data release and news retraction is handled by CCP. Or it was all done to manipulate Wall Street! Someone should look into who bought or sold Tesla stocks during this time.
15
At least toilet paper has a purpose and probably cleaner
14
History is repeating itself, and for all the wrong reasons. It's thanks to one person's worshipping of all things Mao
