Tbh I don't blame them for not making it cuz it's such a cheap commodity they can simply buy it. their 'rapid progress' was of the past 20-30 years was nothing more than looking for the low hanging fruits and by buying and stealing their way to catch up with the rest of the world. That's why even their father nation Russia refuse to sell them jet engines and other advanced tech knowing full well they'll copy it and sell it to others. Did you see what Russia did? They imposed a 55% tariff on imported furniture fittings from China. And China didn't even protest! Not a squeak! LOL
