@danielzhao5471 precisely! It used to be they moved money to HK before they get bounced to US EU UAE but one country two systems thing died. With visa free travel money now flows to SG. Keeping money in mainland is very risky as they can deny withdrawal or ask for a 'donation'

@birdsinparadise3113 China has for decades tried to copy the SG success story. SG is basically authoritarian but without domestic and international backlash. Also it is an actual success. All of these things are the envy of many CCP leaders. SG waiving Visa requirements is a great move. This one move forges good friendship with the CCP WHILE draining China of cash reserves as hot money is no longer safe in HK can now flood SG banks. It's a brilliant move.
