  1. The AR platform is used by special forces all over the world, even by nations whose standard rifle is something other than AR rifle. And the Russians dropped the 7.62 for the smaller 5.45, and the Chinese did the same for the 5.8. As for pistol clashes that’s largely irrelevant as pistols are rarely used, and 9mm is plenty powerful while allowing greater proficiency among a greater number of people, not to mention a larger magazine. TL:DT; militaries around the world know more than you do.

  2. A guns a tool at the end of the day. If there’s a better tool out there then use it.
