It’s just movie nonsense. No you couldn’t do that with different models of gun.

Guns weren’t required to have serial numbers in the US until the 1960’s. You’re not going to get in trouble over it.
1
Double action and accurate doesn’t really go together with revivers. Double action is for close quarters rapid shooting.
1
Are you drunk?
1
Tbf it made the guns unsafe.
1
SMG ammo is generally higher pressure than hangin ammo so it probably didn’t have a good fate.
1
@BK45AUS yah doesn’t change the fact you ran a bunch of overpowered ammo through the gun dude. That’s how you now up guns. It may “appear fine” but it can stress out the metal over time.
1
He literally states because if it was loaded to .45 ACP/Auto Rim specs it has the ore risk to blow up the gun.
1
Lot of shaved Webleys out there.
1
Because shaved Webleys are a lot more common.
1
Yah not that many people would be tripping over themselves to buy replica British revolvers. Western revolvers at least have that wild west American history appeal

It wasnt

Man stopped by the terms of the late 1800’s/early 1900’s Europe.
1
It’s standard physics. Every action has an opposite reaction. The moment that bullet starts moving you’re experiencing recoil.
1
It’s expensive to get in to. Ammo is cheap and easy to get in America for most firearms.
1
It’s an 1800’s cartridge, of course it’s going to be anemic dude.
1
I’d like to see a source for that.
1
@JeffEbe-te2xs everyone out smei auto switches on SMGs.
1
No
1
It’s all about steel quality.

@Rocketsong you can buy replacement cylinders.
1
Nope, .45 LC is significantly longer.
1
@kneyork9930 yep
1
@thomasdearment3214 America isn’t England.
1
@thomasdearment3214 there wasn’t any .455 to request
1
@thomasdearment3214 because they’re cool and historical. If you mean why buy them back when they were shaved down it’s because they were cheap surplus.
1
Did you not even watch the video?
1
@nicholas_scott thing is people weren’t originally shooting hand loaded .45 ACP in these guns. That’s why they started blowing up.
1
Good thing the Webley isn’t ugly.
1
@TacticalBunnyCA good thing that’s not what this is. These are legit Webleys numb nuts.
1
@TacticalBunnyCA alright you’re an idiot, my bad for not recognizing that.
1
@jimjolly4560 that would be a muzzle loader.
1
Thank you captain obvious.
1
Because it doesn’t fit.
1
Better than many other European revolvers, but the swing out culver had already been invented and were available in more powerful cartridges.
1
These guns were modified decades ago back in the 50’s and 60’s. He didn’t modify them. The ammo is so you can still shoot them due to the modification.
