Because there’s no machinery out there to make it, which means it would have to be reverse engineered and that costs a lot of money, and as such these rifles if newly manufactured would be extremely expensive and frankly very few people would actually buy them.

Because those where Polish territories with a majority Polish population, and not to mention that they where at the time the only access to the sea that Poland had. And the only reason they where German territories to begin with was because Prussia had divided Poland between itself and Austria and Russia. And at the end of the day it was the Germans decision to spill blood for that territory, and it was the Germans decision to commit the crimes that they did. Not the Poles.
