@joeandorian7719 This is not true at all, detransitioners are not rare, in Reddit there a community with almost 50k people most of them detransitioners, for a condition that affects much less than 1% of the general population having this numbers of people regretting their "choice" is very telling. Jut search on youtube about detransition testimonies and you can find hundreds of examples from all around the world.

@Zoomer.88 Yep, it blows my mind that people really believe that forcing a child to write with their not dominating hand will cause any significant distress or disruption in their learning process, I also learned to write with both hands when I was a child and if anything it helped me to be more versatile and also it probably has a positive effect on the brain. Comparing this with a child being free to use puberty blockers and do sex change surgery is ridiculous.

@nessa-human-blob This is not true, the same amount or even higher amount of detransitioners exists in other countries, the question is that many EU countries have already experienced their "peak" in the amount of surgeries done and know are curbing the availability of treatment for many reasons, this is why there is a perceived concentration of cases from the US. The US is living know the same "popularization" of this procedures that already has occurred in many european countries in 2010, this is why there's a peak in detransitioners, it has nothing to do with the US healthy system in particular. Search in youtube about "detransition testimony" and you will find many testimonies and cases from Germany, Finland, UK, etc.
