What you don't considered is that the US Army in Iraq used the Iraq Allied Army as cannon fodder, the numbers of Iraq Allied troops killed it's about the same as the KIA of the rebels, so most of the real ground fighting happened between them, while preserving most of the US forces, this is one of the reasons the US had fewer losses.
