Not true at all IoI numbers coming from the ukrainian side in relation to russian losses are always inflated as hell, at least history legends uses public sources including western newsparpers and even ukrainian own estimates to calculate ukrainian losses.

The IDF uses civilians as shields, almost all the IDF main installations are localized in dense urban areas. Also the IDF has a historic of using palestinian children as human shields in their incursions, this practice is so common that the knesset was pressured to pass a law to avoid this, but the IDF itself entered an appeal in the supreme court to revert this decision. They're the cowards using children as shields, and shelling them with zero remorse.
