  4.  @midatlantic09  Nope, being first world is about gdp per capita and overall quality of life, not only about total economic output. Indonesia is already among the top5 largest economies in the world, but it's not a first world country. For comparison even Argentina, Costa Rica and Chile have a higher gdp per capita (ppp) than China.
