This seems like hypocrisy to me, what's the real difference between this mother for the ones that use au pair services or nannies to take care of their children for the most part of the day while they're working? Many women actually spent more time at work with other people than with their children and today this is hailed as independent women that are just investing in their careers. So I don't see a substantial difference here, it's only a matter of scale but the basic attitude towards raising children is the same.

  3. The irony is that one of the main justifications for the attack of 9/11 was the treatment of palestinians by Israel, Bin Laden even let a message explicitly talking about it. Also it's important to remember that the US had no problem supporting the mujahideen together with Bin Laden when these were fighting against the Soviet invasion.

  5. Not true in Brazil, the tap water here in most states at least is drinkable and the quality is not any worse than it could be found in most of europe or in the US. In Brazil is popular to buy 20 liter gallons of mineral water at a relatively cheap price about $4, this water is captured from the ground at selected water springs and is inspected to guarantee the quality and also passes purifying process like inverse osmosis and mineralization. Also in reality even in rich first world countries tap water can have a degree of contamination from micro plastics, chemical elements, and heavy metals, it's almost an unavoidable consequence of the modern industrialized society we live in.
