You're wrong, there's no way even an advanced conventional radar system can detect a hypersonic missile because the radar waves at this high velocity are not able to "bounce off" the missile, the attrition of the missile with the air forms a hot plasma that absorbs the electromagnetic waves, so the radar is blind to the missile. Also, even if they could be detected by a radar using a thermal system their velocity would be too high to be engaged by any modern anti missile system that exists today, so for now there's really no effective defense against a barrage of hypersonic missiles coming your way.
