  3. We see it that way because our brains evolved in an environment where thinking in terms of causality gets us along in life. Space/time is such that motion can put our future in another's past and vice-versa. Because of the light-speed limit, we still haven't seen the "law" of causality broken, but even space can expand faster than light, so who knows what we can't know?
