As an American I say congratulations to China and wish for a peaceful future.

Geez, imagine the boat sank to the bottom and you're in a air pocket. Until you run out of air. Stuff of nightmares.

That was built so fast even the Chinese are impressed.

First & last time for the World Cup to be held in the Middle East. On a positive note since the fans can't drink at the game maybe they will remember watching it the next morning.
30
The only reason I'm mad is at myself for not thinking of it first. She is one darn good scam artist. She would fit right in with the crooks in Congress!
28
Iranian leadership might want to ditch their pagers and walkie talkies.
22
It would appear the French police have been getting training by the police forces here in the US. Shoot first ask questions later...

Looks like climbing Mt. Everest is safer then flying a Nepal airplane.

Maybe explorers will finally find Jimmy Hoffa.

From my understanding (my mother is from England) the term 'toot' in the UK means 'to pass gas'. Sort of fitting actually π.

Every time I think my government is corrupt I see FIFA & realize, "Well, at least it's not that bad".

The horse left the barn a long time ago.

Put Toyota in charge. The plane will run forever with little maintenance. Put the Italians in charge of the exterior, they do awesome work. And for God's sake don't let the Brits anywhere near the electronics! Let them be in charge of the finances & tea breaks.

I read that it's been recalled due to a faulty air bag. Darn Takata!

I think we have a long long way to go on this approach.
5
I think the whole thing will either go nowhere or fall apart. Way too many divisions amongst the members with far different goals. The ideologies are like oil and water.
5
Maybe they were promised a three day trip to Las Vegas, like a time share seminar.
5
About the only positive thing that can be said about Afghanistan is that it's better then Haiti or Somalia. An admittedly very low bar.
4
With Trump as the next President we may not want to live longer. Or not have a choice...
4
"God save the Queen, we mean it man!" And please don't forget the Ramones here in the States. Both bands were a fresh take on the music scene. Sometimes ya gotta break some rules and norms.

Once Israel turns the Gaza Strip into a rubble parking lot, where will the 2+ million residents live? With no infrastructure left who is going to rebuild it? With currently no food, no water, no electricity, no gas...this is just the start of the misery for the Gaza Strip residents. 40% of the residents are 15 years of age or younger, just kids. I'm not antisemitic, Israel has the right to defend itself but all I see in the near future are a lot of innocent people killed. Gonna be a blood bath for the Israeli military as well. Urban fighting is a soldiers worst nightmare & Hamas is ready. It's their home turf and with all those tunnels they can pop up out of nowhere with guns blazing then duck back in the tunnels and escape. The whole thing stinks. I wish a solution would've been worked out many years ago for both Israelis and Palestines to coexist.

Attack Russia with drones? I wish Ukraine could land a kamikaze drone on Putins lap in the Kremlin.

Well, Prince Harry & his wife Megan are looking for a new job...

Just another war crime committed by Russia. Russia will be a pariah state for the next 50 years. One look at the Iranian economy will show what will happen to Russia with so many sanctions on them. The Russian people will suffer greatly.
