I think the golden era of dating apps is long over. It used to be a decent way to meet people but now, much like Vegas and Disneyland, it's one big money vacuum designed to suck every last dollar from you.

In other words nobody knows what to do. It's all guesswork.

"Speak softly & send a big ship" - Great quote

Union got screwed on this one. Geez, I have sick days at my job, these hard working people should too. Thx Biden!

Economists have predicted 12 out of the last 3 recessions.

Images such as these put my life in perspective. Thx to all the people who made this possible and I look forward to many more stunning images.

Incredible & groundbreaking are the prices not the products.

Congrats to India from 🇺🇸!

One more reason to stay away from Apples "walled garden'.

Joanna Stern is priceless! Her reporting & stories are my WSJ favorites. Comical she gave in to the peach pie, I should have seen that coming. 😂
40
Joanna Stren is my favorite tech reporter. I learn & laugh at the same time. The last scene was hilarious, asking students to be her friend while wearing a letterman jacket. The food on her plate looked gross too so this made it even more realistic.

I don't think any of them said what they really wanted to say.
29
Just what we need, more social media influencers. Ugh! I'll be glad when this era is over (although I'm for these student athletes cashing in).
25
You have to wonder, at least I do, how long will this madness go on? 😢
24
This is like choosing between a poke in the eye or kick in the rear.
22
Looks to me like an answer in search of a problem. I don't see too many redeeming features to justify having it.

I guess it's impressive to an extent if you're a Apple fan. I signed off on Apple soon after Jobs passed away & the Bean Counters became the new leaders of Apple. Their products were no longer 'insanely great', just overpriced. I used to be a Mac Advocate 'back in the day' but I saw the writing on the wall for the future. I'm glad I'm free of Apples 'walled garden' now but do miss the old Steve Jobs Macintosh era. Those were special times with his "One more thing" speeches & his renowned 'Reality Distortion Fields'. I doubt there will ever be another Jobs, he was one of a kind.

I'm not sure if Boeing could have messed this up more then they already have. What a cluster F.

I can't believe Campbell's put a picture of chicken on the chicken noodles soup label. I've never seen chicken in there, just noodles & broth!
17
I'll be honest and say I've never heard of your country. Hope you are able to complete!

Nissan quality sure went downhill since the Renault partnership. Nissan used to make reliable vehicles, right up there with Toyota & Honda. Nowadays Nissans are absolute rubbish & as Scotty Kilmer would say, "Endless money pits as they age".
16
This all goes back to Congress & their inability to create firm fair immigration laws. "We're a nation of immigrants but we are also a nation of laws": Bill Clinton

Costco pizza FTW! Of course no delivery but I have no issues picking it up.
14
This story, however it ends up, will be taught in business classes for years to come.
14
@LILRESHW Yes, and the earth is flat as well. 🙄
13
A recession is when your neighbor loses his/her job. A depression is when you lose yours.
13
I must be an outlier as I prefer women who don't wear a ton of makeup. Women have their own natural beauty so why cover-up perfection?
12
The one thing that surprised me was the chart showing people still go to Olive Garden! Why?
12
I prefer November 1st as that's the day Halloween candy goes on sale!
11
Great explanation & charts. And thanks for not mentioning Amazon's AZ44T garbage that the bots are pitching here in the comments. That deserves it's own video.

By the time the Metaverse is ready for prime time something better may have gone right by it. It is kind of a cool concept but the time, effort & technology needed to get it ready is pretty darn daunting. I'm glad it's not my $$$ being spent on it but I am honestly interested in its launch. Who knows, maybe it will be something of interest. Or it could be Zuckerbergs failed folly.

This will be an interesting trial to follow as we await Trump going to court.

Next? Books! 😁

To all you Brits across the pond, are you satisfied Boris resigned?

Now it's time for Germany to up it's game & provide more weapons for Ukraine 🇺🇦!

To all you worried Brirs: Cheer up, it could be worse. The new leader could've been Chinese. 🥠

It's a war of attrition now where Ukraine can't possibly win. It's a sad fact but sooner or later Ukraine will fold under Russian pressure. The latter has more troops and equipment that the West can provide. It sucks but that's the harsh reality. It won't be a forever war as Ukraine can't equal Russian power. I don't like this analysis either, I had hoped Ukraine could conduct productive counter attacks but it hasn't and will not happen.

I walk out with a number of items or walk out with nothing. Hit or miss. I much prefer shopping at 2nd hand stores!
8
Interesting comment. For curiosity I Googled the car Repo rate. In 2021 it was 13% of all car loans. One can only wonder what 2022 holds with a looming recession & higher interest rates 🤔. Thoughts anyone?
8
Beyond me why anyone needs to spend over $500 on a phone unless you're using it for business purposes & can write off the cost on your taxes. The watch looks interesting but the size of it just looks ridiculous. But then again it's Apple so I'm guessing people will line up at the stores to buy them. Kool-aid never tasted so good!
7
The trouble is regardless of whether humans or robots are making HP printers the printers themselves are still garbage.
7
WSJ needs to do a video on the crypto currency commenters all over YouTube bragging about making 50k a week with some phantom investment strategist. YT is full of them!
7
Wish this was possible in Los Angeles.
7
Probably could be used as one.
6
I think it's kind of sad to think in the future people would rather spend time in the metaverse then nature. I don't want to be a part of this world, the earth alone for me is amazing in its own unique way that will never be duplicated by a computer.

On to Crimea & victory! 🇺🇦

I look forward to seeing myself on Mt. Everest without leaving my couch. My friends will be impressed! Might look good on my resume too.

It's clear what side she is on; clear cold cash. The girl is playing both sides. Brillant! Heck, I'd wave Mao's little red book if I could get paid for it.
5
It wouldn't be Italy without the Mob getting involved. 🇮🇹
