My girlfriend's daughter had her rear car bumper torn off at one of these drive thru car washes. I'll never use one, especially with the likelihood of the paint getting scratched by dirty brushes.

Assuming of course that the public will actually buy electric vehicles. EV sales have tanked recently so I'm not so sure who will purchase them.

Lots of holes in this story. Misses out on very important details. Like something Vox would have put together.

Covid is impossible to avoid, the world needs to live with it. The Chinese government was the last one to realize this basic fact. Do your best to inform the public to get their shots & boosters & let nature take it's course. People will die, that's just the way it is. Life sucks sometimes.

Theranos 2.0? Or is their product real but not cost effective?

All China needs to do is surround Taiwan with ships & circle it's air space with aircraft. A total embargo. Game, set, match, without a single soldier landing on the island. Many nations like the US & EU will complain but no one will want to start a war with China by firing the first shot. Sanctions will of course happen but will not make a difference, China will own Taiwan.

It all just seems too little too late to save the planet. By the time mankind has figured this out we will have gone past the point of no return.

It will take 50 years to transition from fossil fuels, minimum, which will probably be too late. The climate change crisis will have hit the point of no return by then.
