  1. T. Roosevelt is one my favorite figures in American history - all of history. I love his robustness. I admit I fell in love with his character in Caleb Carr's, "The Alienist". At least from the novel's perspective. The novel's depiction of his personality is accurate.

  3.  @todddougherty9492  Dr. Laszlo Kreizler. The first season was the book "The Alienist" . I saw they are coming out with another season. Just curious to know someone else's opinion who both read and saw it. What impressed me was the historical accuracy of the book in the tiniest of details. I read the second one, too.

  8.  @msthang5366  Yeah i chose that as my free book with Kindle, but did not like the reading done. I could have done those characters justice. Even the tv series "the Alienist" acting really sucked more than the reading. They had the setting perfectly awesome, but it look like the characters were in physical pain to get the words out - every moment.
