@ThatBoomerDude56 Capitalism is everyone minds his or her own business and not gives a rat's ass for others. Socialism is subordinating our own self interest to that of the public good. Communism is organized and centralized Socialism. China is a Communist country or an organized and centralized Socialist country who is the best in the world in utilizing Capitalism as a tool but never as an end. It's that simple. The failure of USSR was due to its inability to utilize Capitalism appropriately. The failure of USA today is letting Capitalism serve as an end rather than as a mean. The natural end result of USSR is corruption coupled with no motivation to produce or improve. The natural end result of USA is corruption with massive mob rule, anarchy, and lawlessness. @ThatBoomerDude56 Exactly. The CCP is not popular but it delivers results. Pragmatism and service to the people are the two main reasons China is so successful. Has nothing to do with luck, nature, leadership, or culture. Confucius culture is lay back, submissive, see no trouble, hear no trouble, and speak no trouble. @ThatBoomerDude56 Communism is a form of government, not an imperial state. The great Chairman Mao was only a leader, a member of the CCP. He did not, could not and would not make decisions like a dictator. He is human and humans made mistakes. He submitted himself to the judgement by the Party and the CCP found him 70% merited with 30% in error. That is like the highest rating any leader can hope to achieve in a lifetime. China is not a nation bound in blood and soil but a people of mix culture united under mutual inclusiveness and respect. - no claim of better than other nations or claim of being an example. Chinese Communism is never exported. - no idealistic symbol. Only pragmatic results. - no worshiping of leader allowed. - private enterprises are plentiful. - private enterprises are private, not subject to state agendas. - no claim of allowing individual freedom without responsibilities. - no limit to individual freedom within reasonable individual responsibilities. - labor unions are not prohibited but unnecessary. -Freedom of religion is guaranteed in the Chinese Constitution. - inappropriate information like pornography is prohibited but jumping the wall is not criminally prosected. People don't notice the portraits on US banknotes but they have all been brainwashed with 'in God we trust' superstition and Fascist ideology believing that money is God. I didn't say it. I was quoting president Xi and the official statements of the Chinese foreign affairs department that Chinese never interferes with the internal politics of other nations. Exactly. In Psychology we call it sublime messages where the Fascist US government can piss on your brain without you even be aware of it. Cigarette advertising used to use such technique, and that is why they are now banned everywhere in the world. Too powerful, you see ? Whatever may stire up the emotions of their subjects is the only thing that counts. But outside of USA can make objective observations and decide for themselves. No. The miraculous success of China is due to the thoughts of the great Chairman Mao, the great leap forward, and the Cultural Revolution. The great Chairman Mao taught us that revolution is not a game of chess or a game played by boy scouts and that there are lots of bloodsheds and deaths in any successful revolution. He also told us not to rest on our laurels but continue to revolt even against him or against ourselves. The Chinese Revolution is a continuous and never ending struggle for improvement. The great leap forward taught us to be pragmatic and not just shout slogans with no real results. And the Cultural Revolution erased any superstition, feudalistic expectations, and counter-revolutionary complacency. USA could have been as successful as China if it had stopped making wars and started learning from the great Chairman Mao. It's that simple. It is definitely not luck or natural because before 1949 there were already capitalism, surrounding wealthy nations, and seaports in China, but China only had superstition, idle worship, and corruption like that of Taiwan today. It is not intelligent leadership because there are intelligent leaders everywhere like USA, UK, Japan, but none of them witness the same miracles as in China. It is also not culture because Chinese culture is traditionally lay back, obey the rich, and hear no trouble, see no trouble, and speak no trouble.
