They want good numbers, they test the young and healthy who will most likely 100% recover. If they want bad numbers, they test the old which a large percentage of them will die of the infection. The economy will always be here, we may not. 5 months and 7 days between Oct 1, 2019 and Mar 7, 2020, 35,000,000 American infected with the flu, 350,000 hospitalised, 22,000 died (check CDC website). Out of these numbers there are those caused by the coronavirus, but how many, we don't know because until China told WHO about the coronavirus in January, no one in the world knew about it and no one was testing it. Over crowded hospitals means more patients with other life threatening problems will die along with flu patients and coronavirus patients. It's not a pretty sight.
