@silentrotation6541 Contradiction ??? What contradiction ? Superstition symbols are torn down, illegal political buildings are torn down. Freedom of religion is guaranteed by the Chinese constitution. Tourism is being promoted also by the CCP. There is no contradiction. The CCP has the duty, the responsibility, and the authority to determine what constitute superstition, what constitute illegal political gatherings, and what constitute proper religions. The CCP does not have to ask you or anyone else for their useless opinions. It's the law. It's that simple.
Hypocrisy is when you are superstitious or engaged in illegal political movements and claim you are practicing religion. Jesus, Einstein, and I believed in God. We do not believe in or follow any religion, any superstition, or any political movement. God is not a religion, and neither is Jesus, Einstein, or I. It's that simple.

@silentrotation6541 The CCP promotes Chinese Communism, or Socialism with Chinese Characteristics and not Buddhism or Confucianism. Buddhism is in many ways socialistic, but Confucianism is definitely not socialistic. Confucianism is feudalistic.
The corrupted provincial government of Taiwan, the KMT, promote Confucianism. Not the CCP. The CCP is anti-feudalistic.
I-Ching, the Book of Transformation, is over 5,000 years old, before there was any Buddhism, Confucianism, or any Taoism. The concept of Yin Yang is scientific, ancient Chinese wisdom, as well as modern and futuristic. The binary system in modern computing is based on Yin Yang, 0 and 1, and no other number required. Some historians mistakenly recognized India as the origin of the number 0 that revolutionized the Roman numerals. But the I-Ching in China is in fact thousands of years older than the Indian numerals, and 0 was the origin of Yin Yang, 0 and 1, that are both inter-related, inter-dependent, inter-connected, intertwined, and necessary components of the whole.
