  2.  @vaclav_fejt  indeed but it wasn't Britain's greatest moment was it. It was not really much better for Poland. Yes we went to war, but apart from some distant sideshows, we left the eastern European countries to be gobbled up by goose stepping 'ubermensch' ( i mean that last part sarcastically of course). Britain knew deep down In 1933/34 and then for certain after Anschlus that war was coming. It remains Britain's shame, although the fault lies with the perpetrators.
