  2. ​ @sea_triscuit7980  as op mentioned Hollywood, 110% can confirm that the US doesn't idolize the Romans at all. It comes down due to a lack of knowledge. European history isn't taught in as much detail as the US/North American history. Hollywood gets upset when a non white gets arrested for armed robbery
