  1. We dont actually see what people do with the wallet after they dont return it. Do they keep it for themselves or just ignore it? Going out of your way to give someone back a business card and a key is a lot less rewarding than giving back $100. The workers have to go out of their way to do it. If the person who lost it came up to the worker and said they dropped it, a much higher percentage would be given back. Why? Because who is going to jump through hoops for a small item? You going to track down someones hair tie and return it to them?
