  2. This sounds like starting your business vs being hired. If you work for Uber, you are using their resources to get a job. You just do the job itself and they handle it all which is why they take a cut. If you are "freelancing" without a company like uber, its basically starting your own business. Not with CEOs and shareholders but when you start advertising yourself doing art commissions lets say, your business is selling art
