Probably the same way people say the Uas isn't diverse since a majority of the population is white when we're made up of Italians, Germans, British, Irish, Polish, Romanian, etc and all all white. Unless you are actually part of one of those ethnicities it can be pretty hard to tell the difference. That goes for everyone and is not exactly a bad thing. It happens in everything people aren't used to seeing
