  1. Nit: The aerobrake was for terminal decent and landing where Venus' atmospheric pressure supercritical C02 is much denser than air on Earth. Not quite water, but I remember reading where they tested the lander in a pool for that. The high altitude test was for the parachute separation, and I guess to make sure it didn't go tail over teakettle on the way down.

  3. The corrected height is right, but its really a misleading passage. That tested the entry parachutes and separation not really the aerobrake, which was designed for landing where the atmospheric pressure made the supercritical C02 more like water than air.
