  1.  @GabeGinorio  Not really. Hamas et al. aren't a legal government or military organization and it does not adhere to the Geneva Conventions (unless it benefits from them). So anything it does is illegal and any one it seizes is a kidnapping and hostage taking regardless of their Geneva status.
