  1. Political logic: GOP: "We can't afford to fund the war in Ukraine." Also GOP: "We won't fund the war in Ukraine until we spend more money on the border." Russia was supposed to have won this in 2 weeks. Statistically Russia should easily be able to defeat Ukraine. The fact that they haven't and can't means they aren't winning.

  2.  @chadhaire1711  Russian plans for the "special military operation" were for the assault phase to only last 2 weeks. Even pro-Russian sites say this.
