  1. Russians reduced military planning and decision making to formulaic proceduralism, not "military science" which all professional militaries study. While you go into detail on small unit tactics, the "meat waves" are more of a strategy to repeatedly throw such small unit attacks against a defense regardless of losses or degree of success. Stubbornly reinforcing failure instead of success, because the Russian "military science" charts say that is what they are supposed to do.
