Just because they aren't tell you, Mr. John Q Public, doesn't mean they aren't doing anything.

@ColonelKorn777 Almost surely is. White hat, pen-testing. They used to have SOCOM do this against DoD installations. Probably still do.
18
They probably want it for the electronics and the countermeasures equipment fitted, not the shithook itself.

2 racisms in 1 and all stupid.

@benjaminlynch9958 Aliuns! lol When in doubt, its Aliuns! lol

@MrDubyadee1 I'm sure if you got SWATed because you own a drone (this has happened) or the police/military (hard to tell the two apart sometimes today) used "extrajudicial force" on you or your family, you might change your mind. You are making the same mistake to CC is. Presuming that these are some bad actor. It would be dumb for a foreign service to do something like this. It doesn't collect any useful intel, and it annoys Uncle Sam and invites retaliation an lengthy prison sentences. So that leaves an elaborate prank, or the government playing games (ie testing). Neither of which needs for Constitutional rights to be trampled on any further than they already are. Still your easily frightened heart.

One guy got in trouble for reveling classified info, and its become a meme. @3:35 "play games to escape the anxiety of human..." Then you def. don't want to play WT. Not only are the players toxic, but so is the company. I love military history, but the game itself sucks. @4:57 "500,000 players a day!" And half of them are bot accounts that will kill you from across the map.

@MrDubyadee1 That is completely wrong. By your "logic" you also don't have a right to own any firearms that aren't muzzle loading, drive a car, etc. etc. It is already prohibited and illegal to violate government property. The DoD has its own police force to enforce that. You have no idea what you are blathering about.

@CausticLemons7 I think it was what they latched onto try to land a "customer". them and Firefly.

@MrDubyadee1 Stay dumb. The internet needs people like you.

There are 10, 000 something sats and various big bits of junk in orbit (along with millions of bits of debris). While all of them are visible and cataloged. That doesn't mean all of them are what they seem. There are almost surely things in orbit that are dormant or otherwise discounted, that can be activated to provide intelligence. It will always be easier to destroy a _whatever_velocity aircraft with an equally _whatever_velocity interceptor. There is no scenario where a low alt. hypersonic recon platform would be an advantage over a small low and slow drone. In anything less than war, a hypersonic will be busting someone's airspace and become its own casus belli.

There are like two or three of them that have got contracts for it.

Because they are probably their own DoD project. "Address it" Yeah go ask RC plane and drone hobbyists about what the government is doing about drones. They are not happy.

@7:30 I bet a whole lot of companies are re-thinking their "cobranding" and outsourcing right now. This will be THE case study in "business crisis management" for years. lol

I preferred the MOAB name.

And the MIC rejoices!

This didn't cost the taxpayers anything did it? I think my daughter could paint a better painting than that.

@MrDubyadee1 Ironic. Take your own advice. Nothing you write here is correct.

Ned mor tin foil BRB... Okay. Its been looked into. Its basically the same phenomenon as the "EM Drive" and its an electromagnetic effect, not gravity. Notice it requires superconductors and masses that are conductive like copper to show any anomaly. The US government funds all sorts of goofy far fetched research all the time. It doesn't mean its credible. There is a whole ecosystem of small companies that make their living off chasing these contracts and grants. Many are academics like Ms. Ling. And that is what AC Gravity was.
