@Szopjale1 If we assume that "far-right" means ultra-conservative and supporting the established social structures (and not "fas-cists"), then the Communist Parties the Soviet Union, Peeps Republic o' China, etc. became the "far-right" shortly after their revolutions.

@Szopjale1 That tends to happen. Once a person reaches some point of dominance, they then become the incumbent and defend their position. In politics, in business, you see this over and over. Go look at how Stalin and Mao "cleaned up" any rival opponents and ideologies. To our perspective in the capitalist west, they were still "leftists", but compared to an actual communist that disagreed with the detour into socialism?

@Szopjale1 We have conventional definitions that have been created based upon specific perspectives and agendas. You need to think beyond how the terms are used to what the words mean in different perspectives and context. Would you say that Vlad Putin is a conservative autocrat? He is not significantly different in mentality and motivations than the men who ran the Soviet Union.
