  2. Spain's low fertility rate is totally NOT related to how much government handouts are given. Its an aging population coupled with women/families choosing careers over children, much like the rest of the developed world. Sparsely populated/rural does not mean underdeveloped. Rugged, arid regions don't need roads and thing blasted over them. Crops and pasture lands don't need large populations.

  3. @0:30 "wars in the last century" LOL. Dude. Wars have been fought back and forth across the ME since before recorded history. The contemporary borders have very little to do with that. They would find something else to fight about regardless.
