Apparently her husband handles all the striking.

@Isnogood12 Except most of the time she was in a skin tight jester's suit.

She could be a US federal employee...

You'd need to hit the coke and meth to even get started.

You should probably watch the video again and edit your post.

I had a chance to binge Andor over the holiday and yeah. Wow. It is really good. Like Star Wars for grownups.
3
Batman the villain?
2
Bad lighting = cheap/bad set design and construction.

@1:00 TBH This is all Star Wars ever was. It an't exactly Shakespeare. It was an adaption of '50s pulp Space Opera sci-fi novels. And it was only saved by last minute rewrites and edits from being "one of those campy sci-fi movies from the 70s" no one's ever heard of. The entire franchise has lived off the inertia of that one accidental success ever since. It needs to die to make room for better stories.
2
That's the happiest "Go away now." I've heard in a while.
2
@fkerpants That isn't what she meant. If the movie had been made historically accurate then it would have been "misogynist" and racist from our contemporary sensibilities. Even if portrayed in the positive, it would shock and offend most people. And of course never be made.
2
It does have the flaw of using casual gratuitous violence as a major crutch for the writing.
1
Its exactly what you'd expect from a well made adaption of a mediocre feminist novel written for adolescent girls.
1
@nathanknight6042 They said they are into to that. Don't judge.
1
I had to step away for a moment and when I came back you were talking and showing clips of the movie and I honest to gosh thought it was an amateur fan fiction parody.
1
At least Kate Blanchett is still hawt.
1
They paid a lot of money for all those CGI scenes, vehicles, and VFX and they want you to know it.
1
"Indiana Jones and the Beaten Dead Horse"? "Dial of Destiny" Indy and StarGate SG1 crosssover? That, actually... doesn't sound that bad. If only if...
1
How many times has it been mentioned that its the asteroid belt not the Kuiper belt?
1
Its not just the writers, its the entire food chain of executives, board members, directors, etc. who think "it'll be fine" and sign off on this mediocre shit. That is the real problem. Hollywood gets handed thousands of stupid screenplays a year, but its that the gatekeeprers that are broken.
1
@goullet86 is ignorant.
1
Of course in this far future, orange hair and plastic tights might be "age appropriate" fashion.
1
@13:30 "...a fucking sequel" Because those game titles aren't going to purchase and download themselves... (that was an epic cut in BTW)>
1
@bemotivated8443 It seems like you haven't seen the series nor this movie. Or even this review video for that matter. Brown does not play a female Sherlock.
1
@ufos15630 Or maybe you are just an asshole?
1
@fkerpants I'll leave it to @no mane Jane to grace us with a clarification.
1
@fkerpants I want to leave you in suspense? Or maybe I don't really care what you think I just felt bad that you were so clueless?
1
@joelang6126 I am saying they are ignorant of historical fact and biased to their own contemporary point oi view and values. As amply demonstrated in the posts throughout this comments section.
1
Probably is not far off.
1
No it is just someone else's agenda.
1
Thanks for not taking the cheap shot of deadnaming and misgendering Wachowski. But yeah, just like the original sequels so much potential here was lost for whatever "sausage making" that is modern film production...
1
If you like this one you will like "Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets" Same director same weird French universe. Then there is Time Bandits, Buckaroo Banzi, off the top of my head.
1
More like the various Liam Neeson, average guy who is a whatever has to do stuff to save his whatever movies. Not a burger and some beers, but a bag of chips and some generic soda.
1
They have crypto for that now.
1
Ratatouille 16 years and 2020 later...
1
It looks like a fan fic production.
1
@5:45 They are also rejecting it with irrational denial bat-shit crazy detachment from reality.
