  1. Its not just the writers, its the entire food chain of executives, board members, directors, etc. who think "it'll be fine" and sign off on this mediocre shit. That is the real problem. Hollywood gets handed thousands of stupid screenplays a year, but its that the gatekeeprers that are broken.
