  1. @1:00 TBH This is all Star Wars ever was. It an't exactly Shakespeare. It was an adaption of '50s pulp Space Opera sci-fi novels. And it was only saved by last minute rewrites and edits from being "one of those campy sci-fi movies from the 70s" no one's ever heard of. The entire franchise has lived off the inertia of that one accidental success ever since. It needs to die to make room for better stories.
