  3. The maths are done with the probabilities, not the collapsed state. That is why they are potentially faster at certain types of probabilistic calculations. They don't have to try to simulate it with binary computations, a quantum computer operates on them natively.

  4. But much faster. Of course it still can't do the "proof of work" of finding a prime etc. So its not even that useful.
