  9. Big Russian truck, little rocket. AT rockets are designed to maximize penetration of the front cone over every thing else. So while everything right where the rocket hit was wrecked all the way thru, not much to the sides were, esp. if it has uparmor panels as it appears.

  12. The Russians do have air superiority, probably even supremacy at this point. But that doesn't mean the airspace isn't contested with ADA the ground air defense. What the Russians haven't done is shown any competency with counter-battery and air support coordination, which is why incidents like this keep happening to them.

  16.  @Stormcloakvictory  It won't/can't happen because of... lets call it the "Intifada-Industrial-Complex". Generations now of Palestinians have grown (and died) in a culture that is dependent on aid from other nations who are motivated to maintain the conflict and destabilize/destroy Israel for their own ends. First it was Arab nationalism, then Soviet power plays, now its Iran asserting Shia influence. The likes of Hamas and Hezbollah control and derive a lot (relative to those who advocate peace) of wealth and power from that. Not only is the hatred self-perpetuating, so is the geo-politics.

  20.  @ElkaPME  That is very much not true. In the opening hours of the war Russia destroyed almost all of Ukraine's IADNS. Ukraine has been marvelously bleeding the VVS with "scan, shoot, and scoot" with what they've got left, but most of their successes are coming from MANPADs, so Russia has mid to high level pretty much to themselves. They just aren't using it very well besides bombing cities and hospitals.
