  1. @3:07 "Friction is zero" False. The piston still has to seal against combustion gases. These are an unavoidable frictional loss in any piston engine and also are the bearing surfaces, not the piston skirt as shown earlier. Modern pistons don't even have skirts. Every extra part in a power train adds extra cost and loses efficiency.
