  1. But do NOT use that on older firearms. You will get flash rust on them before the cycle is finished if you take off the protective coating on anything that didn't have bluing or parkerizing.

  2. Ex and I used to wash Army "TA-50" (helmets, web gear n' pouches, vests, etc) in the dishwasher after coming in from the field. Worked great. No grosser than dirty dishes.
