It's a great entertaining read, a pageturner+educational and it makes us who were born after the moonlanding and perhaps doubt it, for the first time feel that it really was possible and understand how it was accomplished... It's a male Western feat which commies want to erase from history done openly, in front of the whole world...( PLUS: KGB had thoroughly infiltrated NASA and would have loved to expose ANYTHING suspect)
