What Reddit did was the same thing hedge fund managers and other slimy speculators do every damn day in any stock market.   8. All this is part of a bigger machinery that focuses on social engineering. It is not just a cultural thing that Americans are labeled as "consumerists" and love shouting "bigger is better!".
