  7. I own a first generation C230 Kompressor. It has the exact same engine as this SLK. I totally agree with you on the engine characteristics. I love how the peak torque is right at Highway cruising speed. (2500 rpm) no, it’s not the fastest, but it has a ton of character. The M111k engine is a fantastic little 4 cylinder with incredible torque and sound. I’m pretty jealous of that aftermarket exhaust. I’d love to have it on my little Kompressor. Awesome video Tedward. 🎉

  15. It's crazy to think that this has about the same amount of torque as an SL65 AMG Black Series. BUT it has instant torque AND four doors! But come on, if you are into going fast you'd choose the SL. And I would too. Even just doddling around town in that SL is a thrilling experience because you feel like you are piloting a nuclear missile! The sound, the torque and those wide hips and that monstrous V12 Bi-Turbo. 😩

  16. Oh god. My uncle used to have one of these. I remember accidentally breaking one of the window regulators. AND the engine always kept overheating. He owned it for 6 months 😂.

  23. This car reminds me of the horsepower wars of the early 2000's. AMG was putting super powerful V8's in their E & C Class while BMW and Audi has straight and V 6's in their "super" sedans.

  33. Bro, I love these evening drives. I drive my Mercedes from school to home at 7:30PM on certain days. I take the back roads and get to enjoy sending it through the corners. I only get the opportunity to do those evening drives 2 times a week and it’s so worth it. On the other days I take the bus and it makes me more excited to drive my AMG on those special nights. To answer your question about where I go for my drives, sometimes I cruise on the highway and sometimes I take a run through the hills to get home.
