I attended a block 182 concert and sum 41 came on the main stage and someone yell 'the pit is open' and the gate immediately in front of stage became open and everyone started rushing for the mosh pit. So my date and myself get up and rush to the center stage pit area along with a huge rush of people. Right when getting to the pit area the gates were put back up to stop the people from rushing into the better seating area. Just because the gates in front are put back up does not mean the crowd behind you stops and I can account for that human stampedes are very scary. Lucky for me I was able to pull myself up from the ground without much more than my leg being trampled. Its almost sad that the lose of like is acceptable just so these artist can get paid a little extra. 11:19 Gambling was his only source of income, WOW - poor fellow(!).
