@ai_doom;2:17,the argument would be \"The mindset John Smith\";7:17, searchwise and bpe - I think its just one of them most well played out cataclysm, maybe even survivable(?)

I dont think people realize that the easily available reserve of fossil fuels we used as a society to reach this point 'civilized' wont be available again to another civilization - so no it would not repeated again. This would like be like another industrial age but without any gas.

4:51 This is more towards intelectual property rights than AI. Like when ai reveals a statement that is usually pre manicured for the masses without the wrapping - is why when ai releases barebones seems to alien. Like an example would be GPT content filtering and best practices. Like we cant talk about sex with the thing because that would be unhealthy. If you approach it as from a medical perspective - makes the models moderation event not trigger. These loop holes are not ai creation but man made obfustaction viewed clearly. IF THAT MAKES ANY SENSE... 3:31 this is because no body is actually creating anything. This process of standing on the shoulders of others when developing, I think - applies more to technologies that are understood and maybe with such a new Unknown not having a strong comprehension of the base model might make the 'magic' more mythotic. Ive learned more about programming by deconstructing vector search and pagination for chatgpt content window capacity then building the foundational models official documentation (well ive kinda ran my open ended question into a corner here as ive alread compared the `than`) in 2 weeks compared to the life long struggle of not understanding techical jargon. Anyways im just saying, instead of throwing more gpu at a thing, take it apart to see why the thing needs the junk to begin with is exponentially awe inpiring. Not the other way. LOL. omggomltfugtfojajajajaorielly thanks for vent.

Mathematically we should be witnessing the singularity else not exponential growth and not Artificial intelligence. I still enjoy Chat GPT buuuuut, strictly be definition.

This is the problem with AI and alignment('employment') is distinguishing betweem researchers and non research end-user - is there wont be a difference post agi. Is my opinion(zuck is cool). 7:18; woah woah, if super-human intelligence agi is not even possible why are we funneling the access?

Programmers used nuance to make publically open informarion available while still retaining significance in professional training without endangering the ecosystem by introduction of info. GPT eliminates the nuance.

So I was watching this on spotify so i apologize if my timestamps are off but as far as aliens being recorded from ancient Egypt and later - there have been recorded events and mainstream science leads the lore away from the interpretation away from this thought. The same way 35ft anaconda are real but needing specific documentation to log it as officially recorded - this same practice should be expected to marry over to extraterrestrial life. I think aliens were here and just extinct now. Pics or it didn't happen.
