Well said, Tran, and I totally agree with you! There should be no hard feelings between various people of different countries and cultures, but the amount of bitching and nastiness going on here has astounded me, and is totally unnecessary. The British love Europe and their peoples, and always have. In relation to Brexit, it has very little to do with which people like or dislike other people! The UK leaving the EU is more of a bureaucratic matter about territorial issues, and how badly the EU was treating the UK. I wish you well for 2021.....from an Irish woman living in the UK...;-)

It may be news to you, but the EU also despised the UK, so the feelings were mutual. They'll miss the UK financing, nothing else. What many Europeans don't seem to realise, is that the British love Europe and the Europeans, but not the EU bureaucrats...;-)

I think it will take quite some time for both the British and the EU citizens to learn about, and clarify, all the new rules. After all, this is completely new ground for all sides. The British government have yet to inform the UK populous, as a whole.

No chance of that, as we don't use overcrowded dinghies...;-D

Well, there are two sides to every coin, with negative and positive effects on all. The UK will also be better without the EU, so I think it would be good to avoid harbouring any bad feelings either way...;-)

Maybe you've got the wrong impression about the British people? Of course you'll be welcome to the UK! They love Europe and the Europeans, and always have. The leave campaign is ONLY in relation to the EU bureaucrats...;-)

@angelikaskoroszyn8495 I absolutely agree with everything you've said. Cameron made a massive mistake by assuming the referendum majority would vote to stay, so made no preparations whatsoever for any other possibility.....then he did a run! To add insult to injury, they brought May (who was a Remainer) in to deal with it, and she ended up making it even worse. I don't envy Boris and his team because of the mess they were left to deal with and, although he didn't reach everyone's full expectations, he did a pretty good job under so much pressure. No-one's perfect, especially when it comes to being a politician!...;-D
