  15.  @FiveLiver  Mmm, that sounds plausible. I don't remember what his topic was when I last listened to him, but he just didn't seem to be like his usual self, so I found it a bit off-putting. Crazy as it may sound, I even wondered if he was drunk.....or something else. I've always liked his voice, and the articulate way in which he speaks about the very interesting content of his topics. Maybe I should go and check out his channel soon, and hopefully find the Black Pigeon I used to respect...;-)

  18. Religion is politics. Politics is religion. Both have always gone hand in hand. The human race will never go beyond their own narrow-minded philosophies, which will continue to be their main downfall. Speaking from my own knowledge and experience, both the Catholic and the Islamic religions are extremely powerful and dangerous. SIMON - Please don't confuse the Irish situation of IRA terrorism with the majority of the Catholic population. It is a political stance which dates back to the English invasion of Ireland, and cannot be labelled as a Catholic insurgence. The trouble with labelling people by their religion, rather than by their political standing, has far too often been used as an excuse for most wars over the centuries. People need to realise that religion creates the culture, and vice versa, as well as the politics of that culture being influenced by their religious beliefs. It's a nasty circle of lies, deception, greed, and power.....and always will be.

  20.  @audreyblack8629  You're entitled to your own opinions, which I find to be rather limited and narrow-minded. Politics and religion, more often than not, go hand in hand. What the English did to the Irish people was a political matter, religion only being a secondary part of that. Being tarred and feathered wasn't a big deal in comparison to what the Black and Tans did to the people, including women and children. I never supported the IRA, nor did 99% of the Irish, so maybe you should brush up on your history. Stay well, wherever you are...;-)

You see, I had them saved on my last (and first) channel.....until GooToob obliterated it for a still unknown reason. Starting up again was difficult, as well as very annoying. Also, it's become very difficult to pass on any links similar to yours, so I was surprised to find them still there in your comment. Anyway, I'm learning the do's and don'ts on here now, as well as ways around bypassing the algo's settings. Stay well, wherever you are...;-)

  29. Because Catholicism is often forced upon the poor in countries where the Vatican sends their priests and nuns to. The Catholic church is a very greed and self-centred religion. Islamic countries are very poorly developed, and Islam dominates any politics there.

However, from my point of view only, Catholicism is not a healthy religion to practice, and I speak from my own experiences. I was born (1951) and bred in Dublin, and I witnessed more than enough horrors committed by the Catholic church to make sure that I became atheist by the time I'd reached my mid-teens. That being said, I do not judge those who choose to practice any form of religion, because that is their choice, as long as they don't try to force it upon me in any way. I believe in peace and goodwill towards all people, and am happy to help whenever or wherever I can, and don't expect to be judged by anyone either. Stay safe and well, wherever you are...;-)
