  1. The main problem I have with the US is that it's a warmongering and destructive power. No matter how much "good" it may have done during its existence, it has also done a great deal of damage, as it's unable to take "No" for an answer to anything it sets its mind on - those usually being power and money. To me, it's not really a matter of what country is willing to be benign towards the UK and the West in general, it's got far more to do with the type of culture and motivations behind their involvement.
