You hit on the point of children's schooling, and I agree that what they're now taught is completely different from our schooling in the 50's and 60's. They're being conditioned into a state where they don't and won't need to think for themselves. After all, AI will do it all for them. Also, young people have become very lazy, both physically and mentally, because life is now very automated. At 72, I don't know how long I have left, but I'm glad I won't be around by 2050.

Good morning, Jeremy. Your comment is very depressing and also very true...........Future? What future?

"The younger people are indolent, woke, uncaring, rude, arrogant etc." That's precisely why they can't be bothered to oppose anything that's going on in the background. They're only interested in the superficial aspect of their lives, and the competition between themselves. One day soon, they'll wake up to the reality of their existence.....and they won't like it. Too late.

@NintenDan.2005 That's okay, Dan, and thanks for clarifying that. Whichever you go in life, always believe in yourself, without being selfish. Share your thoughts and knowledge with those who wish to know you and learn from you. A close friendship with a few people means the world. Take care.

@sayitlikeitis8759 Good morning. "The young people of today totally deserve the future that they will have." That may be so, but not in all cases. I think it's important for us oldies to speak our minds very loudly, as there are some young people who do think for themselves, and they're the ones who might be the rebels of the future. Who knows? Society is now on the edge of total destruction and mayhem, so those who are aware of it must try to change whatever they're able to. Our world will never be at peace.....It never has been. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.

Good morning, Simon. As soon as I read the title question of this video, the answer instantly came to my mind. I haven't listened to what you have to say here yet, so before I do I'll just say this..... Many young people live in the virtual world of technology, so a lot of them will relate to our "real" world in a similar way. "Authority" doesn't mean the same to them as it does to us older ones, and I suspect they think they can have some control over it. Right, I'll now go and listen to you.

@johnpayne6196 Thank you, and you too.

Spot on with that one.

For the last few years, I've been saying that civil war is brewing strongly in the background. It will come.....soon.

I'm sorry to hear that, Dan. However, friendship and understanding between siblings is very important, so try to keep a rapport between yourselves where you can agree to disagree, but still feel able to look out for each other. Having differences is perfectly natural, and something that can be built upon, so that you'll all be able to learn from each other. Stay safe and well, wherever you are.

Talk to them about it...........a lot. Their future depends on it.

@angelapetrie2418 Well done, Angela! There should be more parents like you, but many of them don't take enough interest in what's being taught to their children, and then they wonder why there's so much disagreement at home. Stay well.
