Precisely so. After all, we don't know what we don't know until we learn about it.

Quite a few channel creators are now creating their own websites, because they know that YT is on its way out.

I found a warning when I signed in this morning, that a comment I made yesterday was removed. Thing is, YT doesn't tell you what the "offensive" words were, so how are we to go about "fixing" that if we don't know what we've done wrong in the first place? Do they want us to stop commenting altogether, or what??? After all, we don't know what we don't know until we learn about it. By the way, I discovered yesterday that Jeff Taylor has now set up his own website. Maybe you could consider doing the same, Simon.....before it's too late. We'd seriously miss you if you suddenly disappeared!!

@goldeneddie No, I don't see it often, either; nor do I ever see ads. All the best to you and yours for 2024.

@goldeneddie Thank you.😉😊

At least they told you which comment they objected to. I found a warning when I signed in this morning, that a comment I made yesterday was removed. Whoa! I hadn't thought about that aspect of it before, but it certainly seems like the future of "social" media.

AI can probably watch a whole 9 minute video within a few seconds.

Yes, some of them are. However, I keep my channel private, so there's nothing for anyone to see on there. PS - I'm a real person and not a robot.

YT didn't tell me which of the comments I made yesterday had been removed, when I signed in this morning and found the warning, so how are we to go about "fixing" that if we don't know what we've done wrong in the first place? Do they want us to stop commenting altogether, or what??? After all, we don't know what we don't know until we learn about it.

Put it on YT, and I'm sure you'll get a great response.

I've always used "Convid" for mine. So far so good.

No more and no less than those in the East.

@goldeneddie I may be wrong, but I took Mizzkan's comment to mean the YT Premium "adverts", which no ad blocker can stop.
